April 27, 2008 - Marseille, France

Hi!!

   This week has flown by!  I can’t believe how fast it is going now!  We are playing the show this weekend in Marseille, France which is on the French Riviera.  I was able to travel to St. Tropez, Saint Raphael and Cassis this week.  I started my summer tan this week by laying out all the different beaches.  The sun was very hot this week and it was the first time I was able to wear shorts this year! 

  We opened the show on Friday to a sold out crowd and a standing ovation!  The audiences were probably the best audiences we have had the entire tour!!  GO MARSEILLE!  They were very loud, very into the performances and always gave a standing ovation!  I think we had a sold out city which is awesome!  Outisde was extremely hot throughout the weekend which meant inside the arena was very hot as well.  We were sweating a lot through each performance but the loud cheering from the audiences got us through each show! 

  I am off to go pack my suitcases because tomorrow we are leaving for Le Cannet, France which is right next to the famous film festival town called Cannes.  I will be spending next week in Cannes, Monaco - Monte Carlo and Nice.  I will update you with pictures and a new journal entry from my little vacation next week!  Take care!

April 23, 2008 - Cassis, France

Hey Everyone!

 Well I am now in Cassis, France on a little vacation.  Cassis is a small French village about 30 minutes from the city the show is playing called Marseille.  Most of the cast was going to Cassis on the days off since it is so close.  I went in the afternoon on Wednesday and had a great dinner there with a friend.  We had a huge plate of mussels and then walked around the small town until it got dark.  Here are some photos….I will write again once we open the show this weekend!

April 22, 2008 - St. Tropez, France

Hey!

 Well I am in the French Riviera right now in a small town called Saint Tropez.  They film a television show in this town here in France called, “Saint Tropez”.  It is a very beautiful town right off the Mediterranean Sea with bright blue water and amazing yachts parked around the town.  There are many expensive stores here with some great restaraunts that features world wide cusisines.  I spent the day sightseeing and exploring the different couture boutiques.  I have posted some pictures from this little trip!  I am planning on going to Cassis, France tomorrow and I will post some photos from that small French village in a few days!

April 20, 2008 - Lyon, France

Hi!

Well this week went by VERY fast!  Since I was in Switzerland for some of my time off it seams like I wasn’t in Lyon that much.  I had a day off before the show that I went sightseeing around Lyon.  I went for some awesome Thai food for lunch, experienced the new fitness craze here in Europe called Power Plate fitness and met up with a skating friend that lives here in Lyon.  I was also fortunate enough to be in town for the Keith Haring exhibition which was being shown at the Lyon Contemporary Art Museum.  He is one of my favorite artists and it was a real treat to be able to view so much of his work!

 We opened the show Friday with two shows!  The building we played at was built by the same person who built the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France and it sort of looked like you were standing underneath the Eiffel Tower from inside the building. I took some photos of the inside of the Arena and our backstage so you could see what I mean.  We continued with 5 more shows throughout Saturday and Sunday.  We had an amazing attendance to the show and a few show friends decided to visit us as well. 

As soon as the last show on Sunday finished we counted that we only have 15 more shows this tour!  We are really finishing up the tour now and I am getting things in order to come back to the USA.  I have some exciting news about the summer and I will be releasing it soon!  Well, I am going to go pack now because I have another 4 days off from the show and I am going to the French Riviera.  I will write you from the south of France next week!  CIAO

April 16, 2008 - Geneva, Switzerland

Hi!

This week with the show we are playing Lyon, France which is about 2 hours away from Geneva, Switzerland.  I have never been to Switzerland before but I have many friends who are from there so I have heard a lot about the country.  I took a mini vacation to Switzerland for some of my time off from the show this week.  The country is very cute and everyone was very nice! 

I went with one of my Swiss friends, Jacky, to Geneva and we had a great time!  I have posted some photos from the trip!  Anyways, I still have some time off from the show so I am going to go relax now!  I will write again soon!  CIAO!
