April 10, 2009 - Tumbler and Tipsy Hi Everyone! Wow I can’t believe how fast these past months have gone by! I have a lot to update you on and I can’t wait to share with you on my new venture! First, I started working for a fashion label here in Los Angeles called Libertine which is designed by Johnson Hartig and Cindy Greene. I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Fashion Week 2009 in New York City, NY this year to help with Libertines Fashion Week Presentation. I have been to Los Angeles Fashion Week in 2005 and last year I was invited to Paris Fashion Week 2008 which is unlike any other fashion week! I had an amazing time and I learned so much about the fashion industry on this trip. I met a lot of people and was able to have some fun with friends as well. Since returning from Fashion Week, I started hand crafting different vintage garments and making my own variation of a standard tie. These few garments and hand full of ties have become a new fashion label that is taking this country by storm called Tumbler and Tipsy. This new vintage reconstructed line is a green environmentally friendly company that strives to produce one of a kind garments that will never be massed produced! I have created this company and I am now being sold in stores across the country. Tumbler and Tipsy has men’s and women’s vintage fashions that are come in small, medium and large which are reconstructed and made to fit a modern chic look. Each garment is luxurious and goes through a very long checklist to make sure the product measures up to my extremely high standards. I only produce one of each garment so you will not see your friends wearing any of the same clothes that you have which makes each piece unique!
